All the Teddy Bears are made entirely by me, Lynette of LJ BEARS and come to you direct from my non-smoking home -  complete with an adoption certificate and a laminated hand-signed swing tag, stating that he/she is an original, one of a kind, 'HUG TESTED'  Teddy Bear, who will be 'A Treasure for Today and an Heirloom for Tomorrow' ©

Wedding & Wedding Anniversary Bears

 

MT BEAR - Created especially for Matt & Sarah for their 7th Wedding Anniversary on Sunday the 9th December 2007. He has been made from a fabulous faux fur that is long, silky soft with a base of pale milk chocolate tipped in shades of gold, creamand hints of chestnut with a white Mohair Muzzle.  He is fully jointed and filled with polyester and pellets. 19"    48cm 2007  (UK)     As promised I said I would let you know when I have received MT bear and as you duly promised he arrived this morning. With great anticipation I had to see him for my own eyes. I opened the box thinking 'The box looks quite small maybe he's smaller than I thought he would be' little did I know he would be cuddled up in his box, snug just like a little baby in the foetal position. When I took him out and sat him down I thought 'what a gorgeous bear you are'. He really is delightful and even more beautiful than the pictures could ever show. I can't wait to show him to my husband who is currently doing his HGV training. I will decorate his box (his home for now) and give him to my husband on Sunday. I am sure he will love him just as much as I do. I must tell you that this bear will be very special although I know that 7 years is not really a milestone anniversary compared to the usual diamond, pearl, ruby etc but for us 7 years is very special. You see we have a severely disabled little boy or not so little as in fact he is 12 years old today. We have been through many ups and downs with him through the years and admittedly it has been hard at times and needless to say the struggles can take its toll on any marriage. I feel we have triumphed to get as far as we have and to still care for each other more than we ever did. We have a tradition in our marriage, whenever one of us has to stay away from home because of our son's frequent hospital admissions, the one that is left at home alone with the other children will keep a treasured teddy on the spare pillow so as to still feel close to one another. It has always given us comfort. I hope you will be happy to know that MT bear will be taking that place on our pillow for many years to come, so you see he will be a very special and treasured bear. Paul  and I wish you both a wonderful day in September and hope Megan loves her very own little Bear. 9"  23cm 2006 (UK)   'SARAH'    Will be given to Sarah when she is a Bridesmaid at Darren and Rachel's Wedding on the 15th September 2006.  Made from a dense wavy white German Mohair with embroidered paw pads.  Teddy wears  a burgundy diamante flowers in her ear and ribbon around her neck. BEAR!' -  Created for two very special people in our lives - our eldest Son Paul and his new Wife Clare - on their Wedding Day, 17th June 2006.   Much love and big bear hugs go to you both as you start your new life in the USA.  'Mr. Bear' is there to remind you both of home and that we are with you all the time. 15"  38cm 2006 (USA)   This very Special Teddy Bear has been created for ARAN + JUDY to celebrate their 1st Anniversary on the 1st October 2006.   She has been made from a white and pink dense, wavy Mohair, with embroidered paw pads.  She has a string of flat pearls as a bracelet on her left paw and the most adorable pair of hand made marabou feather wings.
