JOHANN - This wonderful Bear was created especially for Loon Tze, a classical musician by profession.  He has been made from a fabulous tipped Mohair, is fully jointed and he wears black tails and a bow tie.  His music score is J S Bach - Das Wohltemperierte Klavier completely copied in miniature. 12"  30cm (Singapore) October 2008

Just wanted to let you know that Johann arrived
this week, and what a handsome guy he is!
He's had a difficult journey though,
as one side of his box was squashed in,
but thankfully he still emerged in one piece.

'FI' 'ONA' BEAR - Created for a Sisters 21st Birthday on the 15th September 2008. She has her name embroidered on her foot pads a 21st Silver Key around her neck and a large double satin ribbon.  Hope you had a wonderful Birthday Fiona.   12"  September 2008

lettering was beautiful, and the fur was just amazing. It reminds of of the

Dear Lynne, thank you for making Waddle for me he is so sweet,
I have a few penguins now but he is the nicest of them all.
I have fed him and given him some water as he was rather
thirsty after being in a box for a few days travelling now he is
smiling and sitting with Little Heather and he said to say 'hi'. Love Heather.

Victoria has just arrived and she is beautiful! again the photographs while
very good do not do the bears justice. Victoria is sitting making friends
with her new bear buddies and telling them all about her adventures in your
garden.

Dear Lynette,

I know you will have been worried about me - as all Mummies are - so I just wanted to drop you a line to say that I have arrived at the Rowlands household safely.

It's a long, long way to travel so you can imagine I'm a very weary beary having arrived at 7.45am this morning (Monday.) Jan was all smiles when she opened my box and I popped my little head over the side, all bleary eyed, to have a peek around. We had a little cuddle to start with, just so I would feel more at home and then I was introduced to the two shih tzus who said I'm absolutely beautiful. (And I couldn't agree more!!)

I've had some breakfast (am I allowed toasted teacake??) and a nice cup of tea, and now I'm going to have a little nap whilst Jan makes herself more presentable. Jan has explained that she is to be my foster Mummy for a few weeks until that cutie baby has her Christening party and then I am to be adopted into my true new home. Of course Jan will then become my Nanna too, so life is all rosy for me. (PS. I believe I'm going to get an invite to the party where there will be lots of sammidges, cake and dwinks! Corr, I bet you're jealous!)

For once, it's not raining here in the Manchester area so that's a good start. I think I'm going to work with Jan today because she can't stop cuddling me and she doesn't want me to feel lonely on my first day - such a hard life for a little bear.

I hope you're not too upset to lose me from your household, and you're not to worry too much because I've got new friends here and I'm a happy little girl. We'll be in touch soon and send you a picture of me boogying at Tegan's special party.

from their long travel to the States.
They are so much more than I anticipated,
and are that much nicer "in the fur".

when she receives them at her baby shower...................

I am "Kathy" of the "Kathy and her Baby." I received the beautiful set at my baby shower two weeks ago. I can't tell you how special these new members of my collection are to me. My father started my collection of special bears over 30 years ago. I think that these bears immediately became my favorite! They are truly amazing and made with such care. As I start my new journey preparing to be a Mother, it is lovely to have such a special set of bears to remind me that I will always be "Daddy's little girl." I can't express fully in words what these bears mean to me. Just know that they will always hold a dear place with me and will be one of the first things to be handed down to my child. Until then, they will hold a special place of honor in the new baby's room for all to see. It will give me a chance to see them every time I put my baby to sleep and will be there to remind us of the touching story of a father looking for the perfect gift for his daughter's baby shower. Thank you so much.

Thank you to both you Kathy and your Father - it was a great pleasure to create these Teddies for you, give them a hug from me sometimes!
